01 / ARTIFICIAL LIFE OBSERVATORY

Life is a question.
Run the experiment.

Choose a seed. Change the conditions. Watch a continuous cellular automaton respond in real time, then fork the same moment and compare two possible futures.

02 / PARALLEL FUTURES

Two fields.
One origin.

Fork the live field, adjust either environment, and observe divergence from the same starting state. No outcome is precomputed.

Keep what
you observe.

Save a local snapshot with its full field and parameters. Export it as JSON to keep your experiment beyond this browser.

LOCAL RECORDS00

FUTURE LAYER / WEB3

A public provenance layer
is planned.

Local experiments work now. Wallet connection, onchain registration, and a shared specimen registry need contracts and services that are not connected to this prototype.

THE METHOD

Real computation.
Clear boundaries.

The field uses a single-channel Lenia-style continuous cellular automaton: each cell responds to a normalized ring-kernel neighborhood and a Gaussian growth function. The displayed mass, activity and change are computed from current cells each frame.

Our three “specimens” are procedural starting seeds for exploration, not verified Lenia species or biological organisms. Computation and saved snapshots are local to your browser. No scientific discovery, token, chain, or shared archive is claimed.

FUTURE LAYER / 01

Provenance
comes next.

Your current experiment remains in the local lab. Publishing an onchain record needs a deployed contract, wallet connection, and verification workflow. None is connected here.
